Mr. Macedo is a Principal and Co-Founder of Hanover Financial Company. As a COO and Managing Director, Mr. Macedo is responsible for the implementation of the firm's strategic objectives as well as fund management. Mr. Macedo has been primarily responsible for the creation of Hanover's production programs, models, and due diligence and asset management policies and procedures. Mr. Macedo has been involved in all 63 prior Hanover investments.

Prior to joining Hanover, Mr. Macedo held the position of West Coast Director of commercial loan originations for Heller Real Estate Financial Services, a division of Heller Financial Incorporated, working closely with Mr. Lowinger. Originations included commercial debt and equity product types such as floating rate non-participating mortgage debt, participating mortgage debt, participating mezzanine ("equity") debt and permanent "conduit" debt. Mr. Macedo was involved in over 125 joint venture mezzanine transactions aggregating nearly $1 billion in total capitalization. Mr. Macedo also held the positions of Asset Manager and Portfolio Manager, West Region where he managed a $700 million portfolio of real estate property loans/accounts comprising of 105 commercial and multifamily properties throughout the Western United States (Colorado to the Pacific Coast). He managed a staff of eight. He was also the liaison between the Corporate Real Estate Financial department and the West Region portfolio operations.

Prior to Heller, Mr. Macedo was a real estate consultant with Robert Charles Lesser and Company where he performed strategic, financial, and market analyses for over 100 consulting assignments throughout the United States covering all real estate uses including commercial office and industrial, large scale single and multifamily residential, regional and community-serving retail, and urban mixed-use projects. Assignments included market and financial feasibility analysis, asset and property management analysis, fiscal impact studies, consumer research and marketing planning.

Mr. Macedo holds a BA and an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
